Based out of Morro Bay on the Central Coast of California, Jeffrey Gordon Smith Landscape Architecture focuses on the genius loci of a place; the spirit of a place. California has many varying climates and ecoregions, all needing to be taken carefully into account for how they are designed. JGSLA takes their knowledge and expertise to carefully develop an appropriate design, from hardscape to planting, that matches each specific project, as well as get inspiration from the surrounding area. Landscape design must consider many factors to create a thoughtful and engaging space that is not only geared toward the clients needs and expectations, but also honors the region it is in.
